From Chile comes Prófugos (Fugitives), the groundbreaking story of a failed drug trafficking operation that triggers an all-out manhunt across the vast regions of the Chilean landscape.  Four men are contracted by a mob boss who needs to move a truckload of liquid cocaine from Bolivia into Chile.
Award-winning director Pablo Larraín (Tony Manero, Post Mortem), celebrated writer Pablo Illanes (“¿Dónde esta Elisa?”) and Fabula (Young and Wild, 4:44 Last Day on Earth), bring the quality of cinema to the world of TV mini-series in this big budget 13-episode epic thriller.
Following the US Premiere of first two episodes at MIFF this past March, Prófugos’ (Fugitives) will premiere on HBO Latino on Monday, September 24th at 10 PM/9C and will air every weeknight at 10 PM.
