Guests included David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Hope Springs), who was also a special guest of MIFF earlier this year for the “cast reunion” screening of MIFF’s 1995 opening night film, Miami Rhapsody during a special countdown retrospective celebrating 30 years of MIFF. Frankel stopped by the event on his way to the world premiere of his new film One Chance, a comedy starring Julie Walters and Colm Meaney, about the incredible true story of Paul Potts, an aspiring opera singer who tried his luck on the “Britain’s Got Talent!” reality show.
