“Farewell, My Queen” a hit at the Tower

Over the weekend, MDC’s Tower Theater earned almost twice the national average for Farwell, My Queen (Les adieux à la reine).  Director Benoît Jacquot’s film explores the relationship between Marie Antoinette and one of her readers during the final days of the French Revolution, grossed $185,991 in 56 theaters, with a national average of $3,321 per theater; while the Tower took in $6,460.
