MDC’s Tower Theater Miami presents the debut night for TOWER TALKS featured with A GIRL WALKS ALONE AT NIGHT screening on August 13, 2021 7PM, hosted by Jonathan Cuartas. Jonathan is Miami’s own local filmmaker and MFF alumni since 2017 when he presented his short KURU at 34th Miami Film Festival. His recent successful premiere MY HEART CAN’T BEAT UNLESS YOU TELL IT TO just became a #1 film on Rotten Tomatoes.

Following our sold-out Miami premiere of “My Heart Can’t Beat Unless You Tell it To”, director Jonathan Cuartas once again joins us at Tower Theater Miami for our very first TOWER TALKS event! A new series led by a different guest programmer each month, Jonathan will lead a discussion about a film that has greatly inspired him and his work: acclaimed Iranian horror film “A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night”!
