MIFF’s 2012 Official Selection The Woman in the Fifth, by Pawel Pawlikowski, will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on September 18, 2012 from Amazon or for download via iTunes. A tour-de-force performance by Ethan Hawke caps this mysterious tale of an American writer cracking up in Paris. Tom (Hawke) goes to Paris in an attempt to put his life back together again and win back the love from his estranged wife and daughter. But things do not go according to plan and Tom takes up a torrid affair with an alluring woman (Kristen Scott Thomas).
