Operations Coordinator: Miami Film Festival-Tower Theater Miami
Type: Seasonal, Full-Time
Position Runs: September 2022 – April 2023

This position is responsible for day-to-day assignments relating to Tower Theater Miami and Miami Film
Festival operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Director of Operations with day-to-day Tower Theater operations including
    but not limited to:

    • Onsite venue maintenance appointments
    • Verification of weekly materials delivery
    • Employee scheduling
    • Daily revenue reports
    • Film scheduling in the theater’s ticketing software
    • Concessions inventory management
    • Handling pickups/deliveries for concessions
    • Handling Tower Theater voicemail/email inquiries
    • Fielding and managing theater rental inquiries + rentals
    • Serving as a backup for Tower Theater staff as needed
  • Assisting Director of Operations with Miami Film Festival operations needs, including
    but not limited to:

    • Attend venue site visits for special events as needed
    •  Organizing all necessary venue materials as needed for events
    •  Creating run of shows for Festival events
    •  Assembling audience award ballots
    •  Assembling grids for venue needs from each department
    •  Oversee Operations interns as needed
    •  Be onsite Operations representative at Festival venues as needed
    •  Be onsite point of contact for work order completion as needed
    • Other duties as needed

Candidate should be friendly, outgoing, and a strong communicator with ability to function in
dynamic, high-energy, and high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm, professional
demeanor. Significant experience in administrative work is a plus. English/Spanish bilingualism is also a
plus.
