The Miami International Film Festival (MIFF) was proud to participate in Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Cultural Passport program during its 29th edition this past March. More than 1,200 high school seniors attended screenings of two of MIFF’s 2012 official selections: In the Name of the Girl (En el nombre de la hija) with director Tania Hermida and Unfinished Spaces with directors Alysa Nahimas and Benjamin Murray present for intros and Q&As.
