Andy Señor Jr. was born and raised in Miami to a family of Cuban immigrants. In Revolution Rent, we watch him undertake a passion project of staging the hit musical Rent in his parents’ homeland. With just 12 weeks to rehearse, will he be able to hone the young local talent into shape? His film shows the challenges and rewards of building cultural bridges.
