Military Wives

About

With their husbands away serving in Afghanistan, a group of military wives decide to make the best out of their situation in this joyous, feel-good comedy.

Left on their own at a military base in England, each day is a struggle for the wives who are left to wonder if they'll ever see their spouses again. Uptight social committee chair Kate (Kristin Scott Thomas) tries to organize activities to keep the women's minds off things, but overcoming the daily worries and loneliness is no easy feat. But everything changes for the better when they get the idea to start the first military wives choir. What starts off as a small way to spend their time explodes into a global phenomenon, one none of them ever could have anticipated.

Inspired by the emotional true story and featuring music from the likes of Cyndi Lauper and Dido, Military Wives is an irresistible crowd-pleaser about women coming together in the hardest of times.
