Adrian Cardenas, a Cuban-American writer/director and former Major League baseball player for the Chicago Cubs was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He has written articles for the New Yorker and CNN, and currently finished his M.F.A. in film with a concentration in writing/directing at the N.Y.U. Tisch School of the Arts.
