Since 1984, Miami Film Festival has championed cinema that changes minds, moves people, and spreads joy. Each year, we bring the world to Miami’s screens – stories from across the globe and from our own South Florida backyard.
But we are more than a festival. We are a year-round institution and we are at a pivotal moment in our growth.
01 — Funding Filmmakers
Through various funding sources, including The Louies documentary fund and the Miami Film Fund, we provide direct financial support to independent filmmakers at critical stages of development and production. Your philanthropy makes these opportunities possible.
02 — A Year-Round Stage
Miami Dade College’s Tower Theater, one of the city’s most historic venues, serves as a gathering place for cinema and conversation twelve months a year. We invest in it so Miami always has a home for serious films.
03 — Amplifying Underrepresented Voices
Our commitment to Ibero-American and global cinema ensures that Miami remains a city where diverse perspectives are not only welcomed, but elevated.
