Set in the stunning landscapes of the late 1960s Tahiti, Waltzing with Brando tells the charming, funny, and inspiring true story of silver screen icon Marlon Brando and progressive Los Angeles-based architect Bernard Judge as they attempt to build the world’s first sustainable paradise on the remote, uninhabitable atoll of Tahiti’s Tetiaroa.
The film is set primarily between 1969 and 1974, during which Marlon Brando was preparing to star in The Godfather and Last Tango in Paris.
Billy Zane (Titanic) will be in attendance for the screening, and the film also stars Jon Heder and Richard Dreyfuss. With a stellar cast and unforgettable characters, Waltzing with Brando is a celebration of audacious dreams, ecological innovation, and human resilience.
