The Hypnosis (Hypnosen)

André and Vera are a young entrepreneurial couple who get the opportunity to pitch their female health app at a prestigious competition. However, before traveling to the conference, Vera tries hypnotherapy to quit smoking. The session has an unexpected consequence – Vera has lost all her social inhibitions and begins acting increasingly bizarrely. Naturally, André (Herbert Nordrum from The Worst Person in the World in an award-winning performance) is flabbergasted at his partner’s behavior – but perhaps this is what is needed to truly see her.

The Hypnosis is a sharp satire on conformity and relationships and the kind of comedy to make you cringe and also howl with laughter.
