Two friends meet one more night on the roof of the 29th, in Spain. Life passes over them as they talk about their neighborhood, friendship, the passing of time, and betrayal. Reflections aloud from two young people who have never been asked their opinion.


Raúl Monge is an advertising director, concept artist, and filmmaker from Spain. After working in advertising making storyboards and advertising illustrations, he joined the world of cinema with Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth. His first short film, Hopes (2019), won the MÉLIÈS D’ARGENT. Suburbs Apology is his latest film. He also designed the poster for the 39th Miami Film Festival.
