Two twentysomething best friends are reunited in Austin, Texas after Ben (Jacob Roberts) gets run out of New York City and Jordan (David Treviño) gets dumped by his girlfriend. Unemployed and without a real place to stay, the duo forge a plan to live rent free for a year by juggling couch-surfing and house-sitting with friends and strangers alike.
Following in the footsteps of fellow Austinites Richard Linklater and Andrew Bujalski (who defined the chatty slacker flick for previous generations), Fernando Andrés crafts something you didn’t know you needed: an alternately hilarious and touching bisexual buddy comedy, brought to life in the shadows of late stage capitalism.
