Though their relationship was distant, it’s Ramón (Emanuel Soriano) who finds himself with his father's ashes during the pandemic, just as he meets Mateo (Álvaro Cervantes), a young Spaniard who becomes stranded in his apartment building during lockdown. Despite their differences, a deep bond develops between the two that leads both to question their identities, compelling Mateo to accompany Ramón on a journey to take his father's ashes to Huancayo, his Peruvian hometown.
Along the way, Ramón reconnects with his family of origin and his roots, and realizes that he has been searching for answers to the wrong questions. Huancayo is the right place for his father's ashes – and for healing his own wounds.
Preceded by short film Bus by André Balbuena.
