Liz, a young college student still traumatized by the brutal murder of her girlfriend, tries to hold it together by passing as straight. A weekend getaway with friends offers a desperately needed respite, but the arrival of a magnetic woman triggers Liz’s buried queer desires. This internal awakening summons a malign, supernatural force that feeds on the group, twisting their proximity into collective violence. Director Victoria Linares handles the collision of queerness and horror with sharp restraint, letting the terror build slowly in a world that demands you stay hidden.
