Mouse – Q&A with Kelly O’Sullivan and Alex Thompson

It's 2002, and best friends Minnie and Callie are heading into their senior year of high school. Minnie has long lived in the shadow of the charismatic and admired Callie, so when their friendship is suddenly upended at the start of the summer, she’s left rudderless and struggling to define her own identity. Bereft, she forms a complicated relationship with Callie’s poised, attentive mother (Sophie Okonedo), pulling her away from the chaotic messiness of her own home and mother.
The latest film from celebrated filmmaking duo Kelly O'Sullivan and Alex Thompson (Saint Frances, Ghostlight), Mouse is a deeply human look at grief, the way we cope, and the people who get us through it all.
