Elsinore (Centerpiece)

The deeply emotional and inspirational true story of Ian Charleson, a gifted actor whose greatest challenge becomes his greatest triumph. Best known for starring in the Oscar best picture-winning film Chariots of Fire, Charleson (Andrew Scott) dreams of playing the theater’s most famous hero on London’s most famous stage. But when the opportunity to play Hamlet at the National Theatre becomes a reality, it coincides with Charleson receiving a tragic AIDS diagnosis.

With the words “to be, or not to be” taking on striking clarity, he reveals how the soul of an artist can transcend all limitations, even impending death.
