Edge of Hope

There is hope in the face of climate injustice. With growing disasters, such as increased hurricanes, sea-level rise, extreme heat, and widespread displacement, climate change has become one of Miami's most pressing issues. Edge of Hope examines how systemic injustices often concealed, lost to view, or conveniently forgotten disproportionately impact a community's capacity to combat the effects of climate change. This documentary examines the perspective of experts and community advocates in order to paint a portrait of hope and resistance in the face of a global crisis.

Directed by Dudley Alexis, known for When Liberty Burns, winner of the Knight Made in MIA Award at Miami Film Festival.
