Duino

Writer/co-director/actor Juan Pablo di Pace (Mamma Mia!) weaves a semi-autobiographical tale of recapturing your first love as Matias, an Argentine filmmaker, attempts to finish a film about his teenage romance with Swedish classmate Alexander at a European boarding school. Unsure if he can finish the film without first getting answers to what happened all those years ago when Alexander abruptly left without a word, Matías returns to Italy to hopefully put an end to the ghosts that have haunted him for the past 20 years.

Executive produced by the late Norman Lear (All in the Family), Duino is a tender and moving portrait of lost love and memory, exquisitely shot in the titular seaside resort.
