Daniel's a typical sarcastic teenager. He's into football and video games. But for most of Daniel's life, he's assisted his family as a caregiving youth, providing essential care for his younger brother Nate. Daniel is one of 3.4 million children between the ages of 8 and 18 that act as caregivers for a family member.


Lauren Cater is a Southern documentary filmmaker and educator based in Georgia. Her work explores communities often overlooked by society.
