Borderland | The Line Within

Borderland | The Line Within is a documentary that explores the United States immigration system, including exploring the physical border between the United States and Mexico, as well as immigration policies like mass surveillance that has led to a border ‘within’ the nation. These new technological advancements are explored in the film to show how governments are changing the way they track and detain their targets. 

We hear testimonies from those who have experienced the policies of recent governments, including the impact that surveillance, detention and deportation had on their lives. We also hear from those who have worked inside the system to enforce policies, and the way in which their roles are changing.
