The Poster:

“The inspiration for the poster was to capture Miami’s native wildlife in a behind-the-scenes moment. I wanted each animal to have their own role in the filmmaking magic.” – Gabriel Alcala, Artist

Meet the Artist:

Gabriel Alcala is an artist and illustrator based in Miami, Florida. His work, buoyant and subversive, updates the sly wit of counterculture comix for the Anthropocene.

His list of clients include: A24, The New York Times, Nike, The Guardian, WIRED and more. When he is not working, he is hanging out with his dog Seymour.

Save The Dates! Miami Film Festival’s 41^st edition will announce it’s epic line-up in early March, with tickets going on sale to Film Society members on Tuesday March 5 at 9am. Ticket sales will be available to the Public on Thursday March 7 at 9am.
