A Las Vegas showgirl for over half her life, the Razzle Dazzle revue is all Shelley (Pamela Anderson) has ever known. She joined the business when it meant something to be a Vegas showgirl; it was a job overflowing with bedazzled costumes, glamour, and a certain cachet. But 30 years down the line, things have changed. There are an abundance of other flashy offerings on the Strip, and the once sold-out performances of the Razzle Dazzle are starting to fizzle out.
When Shelley is informed that the show will be closing permanently in two weeks, she has to start making plans for her future. As a dancer in her fifties, she struggles with what to do next. As a mother, she strives to repair a strained relationship with her daughter, who often took a backseat to her showgirl family.
Featuring a profoundly delicate, vulnerable performance from Pamela Anderson alongside a stellar supporting cast made up of Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Billie Lourd, Kiernan Shipka, and Brenda Song, The Last Showgirl is a dreamy portrait of days gone by and an uncertain future.
