Starting from the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Lawrence Ferlinghetti, this documentary intends to retrace the extraordinary adventure of his life, focusing in particular on the issues that define the experience of the lost world of the Beat Generation.

It presents a strong comparison with the values and dynamics of the 1950s in California, which triggered a cultural revolution throughout the world and brought to light many contradictions.
