Marco, the Invented Truth (Marco, la verdad inventada)

Marco, The Invented Truth is the story of a hugely charismatic man who, for years, served as the speaker of the Spanish association of Holocaust victims. He kept alive, before the media, within his own association, and even within his own family, a highly complex fabrication: he claimed to be a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, a fact that turned out to be a shameful lie.
Skillfully directed by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño, known for The Endless Trench and Handia, they have made a gripping moral thriller inspired by the unbelievable true story of Enric Marco, a man who spent years harboring an unimaginable lie.
The film stars three-time Goya winner Eduard Fernández, who brings Enric Marco to life, and two-time Goya winner Nathalie Poza in the role of his wife.
