The Jordan Ressler First Feature Award is awarded to the filmmaker of the jury-selected best film by a debut feature narrative filmmaker.

This award, presented by the Jordan Alexander Ressler Charitable Fund, offers $10,000. Recognizing and supporting emerging artists in their professional filmmaking careers. It was created in memory of Jordan Alexander Ressler, an aspiring screenwriter and Cornell University graduate, who tragically passed away at age 23 before realizing his professional ambitions.
