IMDbPro Short Film Competition

2018 Winner MOTHER by Rodrigo Sorogoyen

The Festival will accept submissions for the IMDbPro Short Film Competition from May 1 – September 28, 2018.

The IMDbPro Short Film Competition features a cash prize of $5,000. The following category rules will apply:

    1. World premiere must have occurred no earlier than January 1, 2018
    2. Maximum running time is 30 minutes.
    3. There is no specific premiere requirement for this category, and films that are available online are eligible to submit and compete for the award, so long as they are in compliance with rules (1) and (2).  However, the Festival will give programming preference to World, North American and US Premieres and all things being equal, will often opt to program films that have a premiere status available, or are not yet available online.
    4. Exhibition format must be delivered on DCP, or Oculus Rift, HTC VIVE, or 360° Video (Gear VR / Google Cardboard) for Virtual Reality projects.
