Jordan Ressler First Feature Award

Filmmakers making their narrative feature film debut will compete for a jury-selected cash prize of $10,000 in the Jordan Ressler First Feature Award Competition.  The cash prize was created by the South Florida family of the late Jordan Ressler, an aspiring screenwriter and Cornell University Film Studies graduate who, during his brief entertainment career, held production positions with the Tony Award-winning Broadway hits 700 Sundays with Billy Crystal and Jersey Boys. Jordan Ressler passed away in a tragic accident at the age of 23.

The first four nominees for the Jordan Ressler First Feature Award competition have been announced. These four titles will screen at GEMS 2018 (October 11-14, 2018)
