The Festival is currently seeking applicants for the seasonal position of Volunteer Coordinator. Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, training, and overseeing up to 500 volunteers to work in Festival venues during the festival. Work includes outreach to schools and community organizations, building the volunteer schedule, maintaining the online sign-up software, planning and hosting training & orientation sessions, and overseeing all volunteer activity on site, including tracking check ins, and working cooperatively with Theater Managers. Qualified candidate should be friendly, outgoing, and a strong communicator with a commitment to customer service. Candidate must also be detail-oriented and computer savvy. Ability to function in dynamic, high-energy, and high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor is required. Significant experience managing groups of people is a plus. The Festival is currently seeking applicants for the seasonal position of Transportation Coordinator. Coordinator works with Activation to oversee highly active ground transportation during the Festival, including building movement grid, training, scheduling, and supervising driver team, tracking labor hours, and taking care of vehicle rental. Emphasis is placed on creating a top-notch guest experience and following a highly organized transportation system in an intense, high-energy environment. Candidates must be extremely detail oriented, possess previous production or project management experience, and always exhibit flexibility and a positive outlook. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The Festival is currently seeking applicants for the seasonal position of Ticketing Coordinator. Coordinator works with Activation to mobilize the internal ticketing system during the festival, including fulfilling all incoming ticket orders from filmmakers, guests, members, sponsors, VIPs, and industry members, as well as working with ticket vendor company to ensure smooth public sales to Festival audiences. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and proactively while following strict procedures, with a high degree of accuracy with detail-oriented information. The Distribution Coordinator works with Activation to mobilize the Festival on-site logistics, managing the flow of resources, supplies, equipment, and materials that are transported between origin and destination venues throughout the course of the Festival. Distribution requires effective integration of information, transportation, inventory, storage, material handling, and delivery scheduling. Some heavy lifting and physical labor required. Coordinator will work independently within a set schedule, and must reliably deliver assignments on time, and report results accurately with little supervision.

Theater Managers oversee the successful operation of all front-of-house activity at Festival venues, facilitating a top-notch guest and patron experience, while ensuring organizational policy is implemented. Responsibilities include load-in and load-out of theater, line management and crowd control, handling patron concerns, overseeing volunteers, handling ticket collection and balloting, facilitating smooth presentation of filmmaker & talent introductions and Q&As, and all aspects of screenings and individual venue operation. Theater Managers work closely with the public, volunteers, venue staff, ticketing staff, and technical staff.
Theater Manager candidates must be experienced in working in dynamic, high-energy environments, problem-solving, public speaking, and working/communicating with a team. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
